i have moved recently to kolkata and dont have friends.but i talk to this girl from here whom i have never met.problem is we just do not connect to each other.i dont know what to talk to her about.I just dont get into the groove with her.i just want to be more casual with her before we meet.

You have to meet her in person first. Every once in a while some people will totally connect over the phone, but maybe if you have two people with more reserved personalities, it will take an in-person meeting, likely arranged around an activity to provide some stimulus for conversation, to get things flowing between you two. So if she's up for meeting, that's what you should do. I bet that groove you want to get into would be much easier to find when you're face to face.

Even if u feel 'we just do not connect to each other', u have to make the connection. Talk to her more about herself, u have not seen her, but talk to her about her voice, or what u imagine her to be. Being casual may not be sufficient, it is better to be a bit romantic and humorous.

Lay a very good foundation for your friendship... Discuss chat and talk a lot to find out commonalities...

Jus share ur school incidents,jokes,ur friendship with others, movies,cartoons….
While sharing jus ask about her life style,frnds etc…. Make it a 2 way conversation..

you need to add little humour to your conversations..try to be more closer to her ..get to knoe her really well..her likes dislikes...do lil dirrty talkin wid her and se if she responds..and then try to meet her , thats wat will finally bring u both together...
