I had all 4 of mine out at 27. Dentists had been telling me to get it done since I was about your age, but I ignored them because I was scared to have it done. Finally, I started to feel pain in my jaw and knew I'd have to finally get it done. They were pressing on my other teeth and there were, as it turns out, abcesses full of pus. Yuck. They had a hard time getting them out and the dentist said it would have gone a lot more smoothly if I'd gotten it done as a teenager. That said, it really wasn't all that bad.
The only pain I felt during the procedure was when they injected the stuff to numb my jaw. After that, nothing they did hurt even though I could feel pressure in my mouth. I was prescribed painkillers afterwards that did a great job at killing the pain. Unfortunately, they made me nauseous, but that isn't a problem for most people.
It's just such a relief to have them out. Think about how you will feel when it's over. I suggest getting all 4 out at once if they all need to come out, so you can tell yourself, "Soon this will all be over, and I will never have to get my wisdom teeth out again." Soon you can stop worrying. The fear is probably the worst part.

Well, hopefully the dentist will do the procedure using conscious sedation- in which case you won't feel or remember a single thing that happened. As long as your tooth is not fully in, and isn't infected, you should do just fine having it removed. When teeth first come in, their roots don't extend to the jaw bone, so removing them is fairly simple and easy. Afterwards, recovery is not nearly as bad either. My daughter had two removed at 14, when the dentist saw them on the xrays and realized they would not come in properly. She was in and out of the dentist's office in two hours, with one stitch on each side. She wasn't bruised, swollen or sick, and she had a soup and bread dinner that evening. Next day the spots were a bit sore, but that was all- nothing Motrin couldn't handle. The third day she went roller skating with friends, and had burgers and fries. Don't listen to all the horror stories people tell you. Yeah, if your wisdom teeth are infected and impacted, and you put off getting it done for ages, it's ugly. But from the sounds of it, that's not your case, and so the result will not be any where near the same. Don't let yourself get all worked up and scared about this, and don't let anyone else get you all scared either. It's a lot easier taking them out before they cause trouble, than it is after they have started. The dentist isn't going to go carving up your mouth and leaving you to suffer intensely. You will get pain medications to go home with, you will have parents to help you recover, and best of all, you won't have crooked teeth from wisdom teeth crowding them all up. Smart to avoid trouble before it starts, and it's a lot easier on you that way too. So breathe and chill, honestly, it shouldn't be anything like you dread and fear. Ignore the ones that tell horror stories. Just keep in mind, if they are chattering, they obviously survived whatever happened.

Hay great ICE CREAM TIME.!
It's not that bad. The dentist will deaden it first before pulling it so you won't feel any pain other than the pin prick of the needle. If I can handle I know you can, because I am the type that freaks out when I so much as see a needle.
But make sure your mother has stocked up plenty of Ice Cream in your favorite flavors for you. Just give her the reason it hurts to bad to eat anything else. because it is.!
soooooo soreeeee!
Heck play the sympathy role up real big and you might be able to work it into a new computer or stereo system or TV for your room. Just think about that when you start getting scared.

I can't believe that you are only 13 and need your wisdom teeth out. You seem awlfully young to be getting them out. If you are really getting them out then they should be bothering you. Getting your wisdom teeth pulled is nothing. You don't feel nothing because you are in a sleep like state.

You're awfully young to have wisdom teeth. I had all 4 of mine pulled on the same day. It wasn't really a big deal and it didn't hurt much. I had to make absolutely no changes in my routine.

Wisdom teeth are no big deal. I had four pulled at once and was playing hockey the same night. It's really not that bad.

Its not that bad i guess, i got all 4 taken out, they gave me laughing gas didn't feel a thing only when they inject your gums. The only thing bad about it is the day after when your cheeks swells up. The swelling should be gone 2-3 days or so. Good luck :)
