Thanks for asking, I've been waiting to be addressed, and it's not "supposedly" higher status, it's definitely higher status. I think you're all little peons who are only fit to serve me. Oh wait, is this some sort of hypothetical question?

Dear carolus,
i guess how that question is answered by each individual shows a lot about their values.
As many have answered God reminds His people in the Bible that by virtue of being a person that person deserves to be loved with the same love that God loves us with.
Interestingly this past weekend in my Bible study we talked about how the rich and the poor both have temptations to overcome.
The rich have to avoid being too proud and thinking they are better than everyone and forgetting that there are things of eternal value- and God has blessed them so they can be a blessing to other.
The poor have to struggle with wanting everything that the rich have and feeling like they have been somehow cheated because they have less. Being poor is a blessing in that it helps us stay humble and remember that material wealth is not everything.
I would hope that a person of high status- would use his position to raise the status of other people who are below him- and often that requires him to stoop down to pick others up.
Kindly,
Nickster

As brothers and sisters, no one has higher status than god himself, we are but lambs in need of knowledge. Status is but a egotistict value not to be proud of, as we all die as and when the time comes.

There are NO higher status people we are all equal in the eyes of God. So if you want to look at me, look me in the eye Im on the same level as you.
Seriously tho, as a person of higher status I am magnaimous, generous and kindly and will even lean over to look down on you.

In many cases, he looks down on them. If he has money, talent and success he will look at the poor and say that they must be "lazy", "stupid" or "morally corrupt" for being poor, that their poverty is obviously the result of bad choices or bad genes.
This Dickensian attitude is yet to be overcome in our society.

Some people think that just because they have a nice car, big house, a specific talent, or a specialized college degree, that they are somehow better than everyone else at everything else.
We are all equal in the eyes of God, so I could care less.

If he thinks he is supreme than others, then he is very shallow.
Few years ago, my position was just one step below CEO, but I was very polite & friendly to everyone no matter his/her position was.
