It was starved for a month and Its so sad!! Why do people abuse their animals like this? They should be starved for a month and chained in 95 degree heat!

I also watch animal precint and animal cops on animal planet. I just think that people should be prosecuted or put in to jail for at least 20 maybe 30 years to think about what they have done.

Yeah, that is beyond sad ... whoever did that should be chained up for a month or more and not fed, I agree.

At least that dog is on a vet's table and appears to have a chance at recovery ... so maybe he or she is one of the lucky ones? Think how many like this one are still out there.

I watch Animal Precinct and Animal Cops on Animal Planet all the time... the extent of human neglect and cruelty to innocent animals never ceases to amaze and appall me.

I, personally, think that animal abuse ranks right up there with child abuse and that the punishment should be similar. Anyone who abuses an innocent creature, whether animal or human, deserves the same sentence as a murder or rapist.

it is sad. i don't know why people are so cruel to animals.A few days ago, i saw on my local new where someone had spray painted a poor cat in the face. thank goodness, she was saved and now she has a good home, but there are animals being abused everywhere, and it's not just dogs and cats. There was a stock of horses that was almost starved to death too. all this person got was a few months behind bars. it's really outrageous what some people get away with :(.

People are disgusting. That is what my newest dog looked like when I found him left in the median of the road. Luckily, my BF found him and I brought him to the vet clinic I work at and he recovered well. He is estimated to only be about 7 months old. Gator(what we named him) was 23lbs when we picked him up off the road 6 weeks ago...he weighs 48lbs now....a little food and deworming does a dog some good. I don't understand how someone can treat an animal like that...at least there are caring people in the world who try to help as many as they can.

Yes it is very sad!!!
Today I went to a friends house and on their porch I saw their dog Buddy (big Golden), he looked almost as bad as that dog. I ask them how they could let this happen and they just snubbed it off!
My husband is going by there tomorrow to find out what he can do about Buddy (if anything). Hope they let him take him , if not we will turn them in.
Never would have thought we'd have friend like this!
some friends, just snubbed the poor dog off, made me cry also!!!

People who do these things have no compassion for anything.I would not trust anyone who treated an animal that way to be near a child and they shouldn't be allowed to have children,as they are more likely to abuse them,and also will pass this ignorance on to their kids. Poor dog.Did it survive or don't you know?
