If you are a high school grad, you can go within a week of enlisting. It doesn't matter what month, we ship recruits to boot camp every Sunday year round

when you ship out depends on when a slot opens up for you in your follow on schooling. They time you going to Boot Camp to coincide with that. You can be in DEP as long as 12 months and as little as 2 weeks.

You could go anytime of the year except right at Christmas. I would not recommend going in the middle of summer, though. It's hard enough going through basic without the intolerable heat and mosquitos.

You can go at anytime...their choosing, not yours. I have a friend who left for boot camp the same day he took his physical...there was an opening and he took it.

Are you a grad? if so you can leave as soon as you want. If youre a senior you have to wait til you graduate. A new platoon picks up every Monday. below is the schedule for this year.
