This is really embarrassing, but for years, literally since I was 13 maybe, my elbows have been dry and cracked looking. My left elbow feels smooth but my right feels like a rock, all jagged and the texture is like sand paper.

And just recently I have been having this weird problem with my feet! My heels have this layer of hard skin on them, and on my big right toe is this lump that i guess is hard dead skin. And on my little toes I now notice this really rough feeling skin as well.

Ok, whats wrong here? Anyone have any products they recommend? I wear scandals a lot, being in college, and short sleeve shirts. This really shows off, unfortunately, the miscolored (gray) skin on my elbows, and now with my feet looking so bad, its just horrible.

Any advice? At all?

OMG, i know how u feel same problem with elbows and feet
my advise:

for elbows buy baby oil and apply it right after you get out of the shower the best lotion to use for it is one made by the brand sally hasen u can find it in ur nearest drug store (walgreens, cvs, rite aid) its a lotion for tough spots like elbows and knees, if u cant find it they got one for rought hands and it does the same job apply every morning and before going to sleep.

For feet same thing baby oil, buy a stone that removes dead skin and use it when showering. What really does the job for me is 1st buying a foot lotion that has mint if u cant find it i had trouble finding it go for sally hassen, it has to be a foot lotion with a really creamy, sticky substance, before u go to sleep apply all over (to clean foot maybe if u take a shower will help making ur foot soft and clear of dead skin, you could also take ur foot and put it in a basin with warm water and soap) when u apply the foot lotion you have some socks ready, wear the socks while ur sleeping the heat will cause it to absorb the lotion and when u wake up in the AM your feet will be smoother

Every night glop on vaseline on your feet and wear white cotton socks to bed, your feet will respond quite quickly. As your skin softens up take a pumice stone and scratch the excess skin away, while soaking your feet in hot water. Coat your elbow with vaseline each day...a thin coat, repeat applications. I would bet you are right handed and rest your arm on the table when your write. Either way your skin is drying out and the vaseline will take care of it quickly those areas just need plenty o f moisture. Good luck.

For your elbows: Exfoliate w/ a sugar scrub* or shower poof & moisturizing shower gel.

Use a lotion w/ AHA, etc. to promote cell turnover. ex) Eucerin Intensive Plus Body Lotion

For extra moisturizing, apply Vaseline at night.

For feet - use a foot file after a shower to sand off dry, flaky skin.

You can give yourself a pedicure by adding a cup of whole milk to a basin of warm water, then soaking your feet for 10-15 minutes before using a sugar scrub. Rinse well & apply lotion.

Kerasal foot ointment is the best for dry, cracked feet.

Get yourself and paraffin wax pot, it is body wax that makes rough skin go away. You can get it in different scented waxes that hydrate and nourish the skin. This is done during manicures and pedicures every day, you can put the wax any wear on the skin, this is a professional treatment that is available in fine beauty stores. Look it up on Google.

Your problem really can be treated at home. There are do it yourself remedies out there. No need to worry about its side effects because mostly it's natural.
