Okay, I was wondering if sex really does hurt the first time? If the hymen is broken, does it still hurt? My fiance and I (both virgins) are very much in love, and have talked about it. We're moving in together in a few months, so I know it's bound to happen. Our wedding isn't for awhile, but I know we won't...especially since we'll live together lol. I'm old enough and mature enough for it too, although some think I'm not. I don't understand why though. To tell you the truth I don't know how we've managed to wait this long, but I'm glad we decided to. Now, we're both older & mature so it's almost time.

I don't understand why people would say you aren't old enough or mature enough to handle sex, especially if you're going to marry this guy. But back to the matter at hand: sex can be uncomfortable for the first time, not necessarily painful. If you do a lot of foreplay before hand, and he goes slow or at a comfortable pace for you, then you'll enjoy your first time, especially since it's with someone you truly love and have been saving yourself for. Plus, since he's a virgin too, he probably won't last too long, if you know what I mean, so you won't be too sore afterwards lol. Have fun and enjoy it! Good luck!

Well you are older so im not sure how you would react the first time but i am 17 and my first time was a month ago and it does hurt a little. But my bf slowly eased in..starting with the head and gently back and forth until he could get further. This does hurt a little but after you both have done it a couple times he can slowly go deeper and deeper and you will start to feel pleasure instead of pain. The hymen is easily broken and did not hurt for me.

Depends. Some women's hymens are thicker than others
so it hurts for some. Once it is broken you might bleed, a little.
Don't worry too much about it. It's probably going to hurt
the first few times (probably). To some people it doesn't even
hurt. :p

Girl, i applaud your wait....wonderful! As for the pain, it depends on the man. Since it's his first time too, it probably won't last long and it might hurt. What the two of you need to do is have a whole night and day off and experiment with eachother....make a short vacation of it and play naked the whole time....have plenty of foods and drinks and snacks on hand so you won't have to go anywhere.... the first time is rarely an enjoyable experience and it takes some time for your woman parts to get used to it... so make a special time of it so that your first experience will be a good one and not just a quick stab and it's over. Enjoy yourselves and use protection!

yeah it hurt me the first time. like it wasnt a crying pain. more of a "ouch but dont stop" kind of hurt. but i didnt bleed at all. and as of the hymen already being broken, i think it would hurt a little bit. but not too much you know. but i give you props for waiting for that guy! and people are stupid saying your not mature enough. your ready when your body is ready and your mind is. but good luck in the future!

yes it is, even if your hymen has already been broken as long as it was your first time it still hurts. it's nice to know that you have waited for that long. just be very sure that you wanna give it to the right person and the person you truly love. it is something very special so just both of you relax, enjoy, and cherish that very especial moment.

That's so cool that you are waiting. My first time (a very, very long time ago but remember it well) hardly hurt at all and I also didn't bleed but it's different for every woman. My boyfriend at the time wasn't a virgin and was very gentle and caring. Most times the anticipation is worse than the actual event. I think you'll be just fine. May you always be happy.

Funny somebody asked the same question yesterday,,,. Well yes sex does hurt for the first time but it goes away as you do it more,,,,,and in some cases some bleeding will occur.

well how old are you? and yes it does hurt the first few time that you have sex and then you will be fine after wards. It is completely normal for you to walk kind of funny or bleed your first few times as well.
