Meet with other patients and caregivers in a group setting
The Society also offers adult group in many communities across Ontario. Trained volunteers facilitate educational and informal discussions to help people living with cancer and their caregivers. The types of groups available in each area may vary. Some groups are specific to one type of cancer, while others may offer general support for people living with cancer.

Call us at 1 800 263-6750, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Support is available in English, French and many other languages.

Check with the hospitals in your area. Some of them can offer all types of support groups. Some have trained personnel to deal with cancer patients. There are so many questions our Doctors don't answer, it's good to have a place to turn, where people have/are experiencing the same things we are.

You don't mention what type of cancer you have.

Some of the more common cancers (eg breast cancer) have specialised support groups.
