Okay, This guy I went out with made it clear he wants to be friends with benefits. I just want to be friends. My friend set us up thinking we would be a good match. More this guy talks the more I am not intrested.

Just ignore him and eventually he will go away. Don't answer his calls or better yet tell him that you are not interested in being his friend with benefits.

There is no such things as just being friends after he has told you he needs the benefits part. If you choose to continue this friendship you both will eventually end up sleeping with each other whenever you need some comfort. If you are not into that lifestyle it would be good to make new friends who have similar standards to you.
Stand up and tell the guy where to go!

He's made it clear that he's not interested in anything more from you than a no strings attached sexual relationship. He doesn't want to be friends and he doesn't want a relationship with you. How do you get rid of him? Well, since you know a friendship won't work out then just tell him you don''t want to be friends and you don't want to talk to him anymore. Don't call him, don't return his calls and don't answer his emails. Eventually he'll gt the point and go away. You just have to break all contact with him.
Friends with benefits don't work--they are more heartache than pleasure.

How many times to I have to say this. A FWB is just a guy or girl that wants a free booty call!!! They are not really friends. That term was created for jerks to use on people to make them feel a little special, so that they could get a piece of as# from them. It is just like the rest of the BS that insincere people tell you when they want to take advantage of a situation. Don't fall for it. It is a Trap!!!! Somebody always gets hurt in that situation!!!!

Guess many want to know,besides U! Simple- either do not return his calls -If somehow he is always with the crowd that you meet up with , tell him you are NOT interested in a relationship, or use the famous line of George Costanza of Sienfeld-' It's not about YOU IT'S ABOUT ME' line.
IF ALL FAILS THEN BE UPFRONT-say you are not interested and you want to move on-if this FAILS- just ignore him in front of all,he will get the message
Another way is to let another friend know your feelings and ask them to relay your message

Why even be friends with someone who can't take no for an answer? He doesn't, he just wants to have sex with you. I think kissing a guy too soon after meeting him can give the wrong signals. You haven't had a chance to even get to know him yet.

Dotty, Just tell him. You are worth more than that, no need beating around the bush you know. Better to get rid of someone that has no idea what the word "friends" mean, than to loose your dignity and self respect. Tell that guy to call it as it is, He is looking for someone he can use until he is ready to settle down, and that is putting it mildly, because friends treat one another with respect and dignity.

You need to say exactly that. 'Sorry I'm not interested in that type of relationship'. Find another girl who can perform sexual favors with absolutely no emotions or any strings attached. Such a woman doesn't exist. Unless of course he finds a prostitute. But seriously, just be firm with him and end it soon.

I guess I don't understand why this is so difficult... what do YOU want? Want to put out? No? Then DON'T. Do you want to? Then OK... Worried about pissing off a friend? Well, if they want you to be with this person and you to put out, I guess they're not much of a friend, are they?
