or is the whole finding someone hard to do
i mean why is it everytime i thimk I have a cahnce it just gets shot down
is it so bad to want someone to hold or to be with?
im not a pervert like some people.
im not in it just for the phisical parts of a relationship
i just want someone to be around

This is the thing... you really, really need to know yourself before you find someone. I know it sounds corney, but that is the only way you will find someone who will stay. You will become picky and PICKY is vital. It means you aren't willing to take just anyone. If you ever meet someone and think, "she is nice, but" then it doesn't work!!

Learn who you are, what you want. You didn't mention your physical and/or emtional likes in this post. You need to do that.

You need plenty of time alone (but not too much) to know that you can be alone and also, people learn alot about themselves when they are alone. Live alone for a year without trying to date, to see how you live in your space.

Desperate people sometimes pick anyone, try not to do that...it is costly!! Believe me I know!

Gee, I have been there. I was 31 when I got married. Yes this is hard. I think that just having some friends is a very good start. I had girl frinds and girl FRIND. My girl "frind" and I would just hang out. It helps getting you through till you find a possibility. MOST women don't like to be rushed and they can sence that. Start a relation buy popping up often. Say Hi, talk a little and leave. After awhile, pop the date question. Good luck

I understand were you are coming from, you aren't the only one that thinks its hard to find someone, your best bet is to take things slow and chose people closely but don't be to picky, starting out as friends with benefits is a great way to start and get to know each other better.

Finding someone is hard to do. But, learn a little more each time that it doesn't work and keep trying! Enjoy your life and be happy and the right one will come along.

You're obviously attracting the wrong women. Isn't it better to know early on that something isn't going to work out than, say, 5 years down the road? The right one will come along when you're least expecting it. It WILL happen. Good luck.

u r so right, it is tough-and wanting to show someone a little love is equally hard. These days, things are so damn 'trendy', and if you're not up to specs, a lot of shallow people will look right over you. It happens to all of us. Just take your time and don't try so hard. It DOES get better believe me, it'll happen.

yep its really hard. especially when you believe you're a good catch but no one seems to notice. a lot of people go through that but i've also heard many say that when they least expect it they find some one really special. i did.. i met bf more than a year ago but i didnt like him like that... but in weird circumstances we met again and i gave it a shot and we are still together and very much in love. and you never know you might already know that person but just dont know it! good luck!

I can't believe how much I can relate to you, I was just told by this girl I really like who I was so sure liked me too, that she only liked me as a friend, it really hurt and this has happened to me before, I'm starting to think I'll never find someone
