Ether asked Infinite, " Do you know Tao?"
"I dont know" replied Infinite.
He asked No-action the same question and No-action replied : "I know Tao"
" So you know Tao, Can you specify?"
"Certainly"
" I know Tao can be high, can be low, can be centered and can be dispersed. These are some of the specification that I know."
Ether told No-beginning of No-action's words and asked, " Thus Infinite says he does not know and No-action says he knows. Who is right?"
"The one who thinks he does not know is profound, and the one who thinks he knows is shallow. The former deals with the inner reality, the latter with appearance"

While it's a great quote, I'll only respect those who are seeking the truth. I am not going to believe what someone says just because they are sincere and well intentioned. I'll stick with what the evidence shows. Then, when I figure something looks pretty accurate I'll provisionally believe it but that's only pending more evidence.
Anyone who claims to know the truth I doubt. Anyone who talks about the Truth scares me a little.

I think truth is the end result of clarity. Once we find clarity of thought and emotion, we are left with purity, with truth.
"The" truth, as far as Source and Universe and creation and all that stuff will be continually sought, with pieces of it coming together as truth for individuals in different ways, but still, we learn some truth. I do not doubt what I have found; and I believe in myself as I continue to seek more truth.
I would love to be able to truthfully say that today I am seeking only the moment. But that would be a lie, because what I am truly seeking is 4:30 tomorrow afternoon, for after that time I will be on vacation for six days. Definitely not living in this moment, but in that one.

Seek Truth and you'll find truths that are usually reliable. I sat usually, because Seekers and Seers cant affor to believe in anything every day, most errors and illusions stem from what we think we know. Find Truth and you know you did something wrong.
I'm seeking some quality sleep, now that it's cooled off and the GF is gone until Friday.

I think even those who claim to have found "THE truth" are really just seeking, perhaps especially those folks. I guess I believe we are all seeking meaning and purpose in life, and we should be willing to approach life as people who are continually learning. In my journey today I'm seeking comfort.

I don't know many who have claimed to find it. I know a lot of people will avoid the conversation though (and those are the ones I would imagine aren't even looking). I suspect many people here are looking but just don't know how to ask a question. Maybe they find what they're looking for through humorous responses or forming the perfect rhetorical question.

Good quote....and may we never stop seeking the truth in all areas of our lives! Because once we do, apathy sets in and we can't learn anything else!...Blessings.

I agree with the statement.
What about those who have found a source of truth but continue to search (using, in part, that source)?

Scientists would be the seekers and religionists the finders. And yes I agree with Andre.
