I bit into a cherry tomato and it squirted on her plate and on her. I said excuse me but she didn't notice and had no idea what I was talking about. What should I have done?

You did the right thing, there wasn't anything else to be done. It would have been rude if you tried cleaning it off her plate or her.

I'm sorry but that gave me a good laugh... Thanks =)

Don't even worry about it. It's not like it was deliberate. It was a total fluke. You did the right thing although you were even nicer because I would have pretended I didn't notice. She's not gonna know that it was from your tomato if she didn't see it at the time. She won't be like Oh, I was standing next to a girl who ate a tomato and this is red! Worst case scenario, she did see you do it, it's a total fluke. Stuff like that happens to everybody. People have done/said WAY more embarassing things than that so consider yourself lucky. You'll be just fine.

I think you did fine. Say "oh, pardon me!" and if she gives you a "huh?" look, say "never mind."

Unless you have some sort of a disease that is spread by saliva! Otherwise, no real foul done; it is a little gross, but just move on.

Now, if you had stained her white shirt or something, that would call for different etiquette!
