Ive only worked there for 3 weeks.
and i am 17 years old and i work at a restaurant and a bookstore (chapters).
Id like to quit one of the jobs, most likely the bookstore (chapters)
how do i quit the job?
its only been 3 weeks since i started working. Thats bad right?

Wow, you're very hard working to be holding 2 jobs at age 17!! Well, if you want to quit one job, you can talk to your supervisor and nicely tell him/her that though your very thankful for the opportunity to work there, you've realized that it's not something that you can continue with at the moment. Say something like, you need to concentrate more on school or something. It's better to tell them you're quitting in a nice way- Don't burn bridges, you'll never know when you might need to go back to that place/job again. Good luck.

Tell your boss that you would like to talk with him about your schedule. Let him know that you are very sorry but you feel you have overextended your commitments between your other job, school, and your activities and that something has to give and unfortunately it is the newest addition to your life, which is this new job. Apologize sincerely, offer to work out a two week notice and then move on.
If that is not what you want to say, just try to explain yourself in a mature, professional way. Your boss will appreciate that. Good luck!
BTW...Don't be offended if your boss says a notice is not necessary and lets you go on the spot. This happens sometimes.

the best way is to give 2 weeks notice, tell them you are sorry, you have a lot going on and you enjoyed working there it doesn't hurt to lie in this case just leave on good terms.

ask for a raise and if they don't give it to you then quit that job....if they do well then good for u....quit the other job...good luck makin a decision!!! I wish use my harry potter magic to bring you luck!!
