no, but in a sense Frankenstein is a story about man trying to be like God and failing misserably

No. But human scientists will only create "Frankensteins" as they try to create life through cloning, genetic engineering and trans genetics.

i fully well realize many religious people won't admit it but they really push for a zombie or clone like society they would join the borg if star trek were endorsed by god's bible .
