I don't know about your area, but mine was over $100 for the first one and then subsequent ones were$70 each. Of course that was in 2001. Dental costs and insurance coverage changes over time. I would look in the neighborhood of close to $200.00 plus, depending on who you go to. I had to go to an oral surgeon that was very good, and reasonably priced. Beware of the new dentists and their fancy offices, you will be paying their bills for that. Get one that is in a regular office and the bill may be cheaper. Believe me, this is a regular occurance with drs. and dentists. They charge more to pay for their new office. Good Luck. They do it differently now and it is less painful unless they are impacted, which I hope they are not.

It varies. I'm not from NY so I don't know what Dentists there charge. And alot of it depends whether the teeth are under the gumline or have already erupted. If they are under the gumline completely, you're talking oral surgery. It takes longer to cut them out and they put stitches in sometimes. The cost of that without insurance could run between 1,600 to 2,400. If your teeth have already come up from the gumline, it's easier to get them extracted. The cost for this would be less because it's easier on the Dentist or oral surgeon to get them out. It could drop the price by half or more. Your best bet is to just call different Dentists and ask, they could give you an estimate. Good luck.

Well, there are places that some dentists volunteer at (tax reasons for some, other's just charitable giving). Depending on how much you make a year, it CAN be pretty inexpensive. If I were to get mine extracted, it'd cost me 5 bucks and I'd still be using the same dentist I've had even while I was insured and making more than enough per year. Look them up, you might find somewhere.

Not sure about N.Y but i live in Ca. an i just got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday. My total was 1430.00 which included them putting them putting them to sleep. I only had to come out of pocket 339 and my insurance cover the rest. Call your insurance and see how much the will cover but it normally cost about 300 dollars per wisdom tooth. Good luck.

Ten years ago, I had a wisdom tooth extracted in Denver, CO for $60.00. Call the dentists around you and see what they charge.

About $600. But you are much better off getting all 4 done at the same time for about $800!
