There are no bible passages where jesus ever claims any such thing. The whole "trinity" superstition pre dates christianity by 1000 years and is as pagan as the Romans.

I believe so. But we have to understand that we are not meant to know everything or understand everything (or be able to explain away everything, for that matter).
The link below has some Biblical references to look at. Check them out in your Bible
Here is one example:
"I and the Father are one." The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?" The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God." (John 10:30-33)
Jesus is the second part of the Trinity - The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is often referred to in the Bible as 'The Word' - John 1:1-5 is one example ... Before the world was created, the Word already existed; He was with God and He was the same as God."
Hope this helps - in the end, trying to understand some of these things only creates questions and doubt. A personal relationship with Jesus is our key to heaven.
God bless

Jesus was an instigator. He did things on purpose, and because people are so blind, especially the Pharisees, they didn't see it even though he was standing in front of them and telling them who He is:
3Jesus answered them, "Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? 4 He entered the house of God, and taking the consecrated bread, he ate what is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions." 5 Then Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
Who is the Lord of the Sabbath?
Exodus 31:13
"Say to the Israelites, 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy.
Leviticus 26:2
" 'Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the LORD.
2 Chronicles 31:3
The king contributed from his own possessions for the morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moons and appointed feasts as written in the Law of the LORD.

Yes, the Pharisees tried to stone him for it.
But, you would have to understand the Bible and the scriptures to know that is what he said.
"before Abraham was, I AM" (Jesus)
The Pharisees got it, and picked up stones to kill him for "blaspheming". It would be blasphemy, if it weren't true.
Since it is true, they were unable to stone him.

YOu also have to understand that he makes an intellectual argument that David prophetically claims that the Messiah would be Almighty God. Jesus had already made claims to Messianic titles in Daniel, so again he was being a little cheeky and making the claim.
Finally, in Matthew 28 he says "ALL Authority In Heaven and ON EARTH is given to me" and the Old Testament claims that only God can have authority in HEAVEN and on earth. Satan had authority on earth for a short time prior.
So, the point is made by Jesus thoroughly. But finally, it is not considered to be a trait of true humility to boast of yourself, as the scripture says "let others praise you and not yourself". and so Jesus appointed twelve to praise him and reveal that he was in fact not merely a savior, but The Savior - Almighty God, the Great I AM.

No He Did Not.
This account Speaks Volume..( Matt 16:13-17)
Now when he had come into the parts of Caes·a·re′a Phi·lip′pi, Jesus went asking his disciples: “Who are men saying the Son of man is?” 14 They said: “Some say John the Baptist, others E·li′jah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them: “YOU, though, who do YOU say I am?” 16 In answer Simon Peter said: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 In response Jesus said to him: “Happy you are, Simon son of Jo′nah, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to you, but my Father who is in the heavens did.
If Jesus was God, he would have CORRECTED Peter on the Spot and tell him he was Wrong.
All the other explanations of " I and the Father are One" has to be read in the context of other verses instead of running with one verse and staking one's Claim.
Matt 28: 18: " And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.
Ask Yourselves, WHO gave Jesus this Authority since its believed by many that he was God? Why would he be Given " Anything" If his Equal to the Father.

Jesus said it:
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
The Disciples said it:
John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
God the Father said it:
Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Hebrews 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Other thought Jesus was claiming to be God:
Mark 2:5-7 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
John 10:29-33 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

yes! take for example Jesus’ words in john 10:30, “i and the father are one.” at first glance, this might not seem to be a claim to be God. however, look at the jews’ reaction to his statement, “we are not stoning you for any of these, replied the jews, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God” [john 10:33]. the jews understood Jesus’ statement to be a claim to be God. in the following verses, Jesus never corrects the jews by saying, “i did not claim to be God.”
in revelation, an angel instructed the apostle john to only worship God [revelation 19:10]. several times in scripture Jesus receives worship... he never rebukes people for worshiping him. if Jesus were not God, he would have told people to not worship him, just as the angel in revelation had. there are many other verses and passages of scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.

The only verses that seems to come to my mind are,
John 10:30 I and my Father are one
John 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Show us the Father?
There are other scriptures that point to this, but it is not Jesus saying it directly.

Here are some evidences of Jesus' diety. If you must, scroll past the first few, as they are essentially "So-and-so called Jesus God" reasons. Though important, I get the sense that that is not necessarily what you are seeking . . .

John 8:58 "before Abraham was, I Am".
Jesus was equating Himself with God by saying "I Am".
It was apparent to the Jews what He was stating, because they immediately tried to stone Him.
