This would be a good reason for the government to shoot it down. I myself heard the explosion. Since days after 9/11 I believed it was hijacked and secretly brought down by the military.

For me it's stupid to believe that faulty wiring was the cause of something that devistating. Are there no detection systems on these things? They were building a friggen airplane, not a television set. Planes have been hijacked in the past. I don't believe the 9/11 conspiracy, and didn't say I did. Even though they had 1 hour and 40 minutes to shoot 1 out of 4 planes out of the sky on 9/11 and failed to do so. I was just asking. I was really close to it that day and I've heard numerous theories.

Why do all you idiots who know NOTHING about aircraft come on here and spout stupid theories about TWA 800 and 9/11?
First, I'd suggest you get some experience in the field you are discussing, rather than making wild, unsupportable accusations.
I've been working with transport category aircraft for over 15 years (i.e. B747, A330, B767, etc.). I can tell you, without hesitation, that the wiring was faulty in that aircraft. I was part of the group that dismantled it's sister ship in Mojave, CA. The wiring there, too, had soft spots in the insulation, and other areas where the insulation had been plain stripped off.
I have seen it with my own eyes. So, unless you KNOW something, STFU.
I am sick of you idiots coming up with all of these stupid theories because the real answer isn't "exciting" enough.

It crashed minutes after takeoff how could it have been highjacked and shoot down in such a short amount of time?
It crashed because of an explosion in the center fuel tank. That is the reason TWA-800 was not shot down.

What is the reason for your assumption? The NTSB has came to a resaonable conclusion about TWA 800. It's your call if you want to belive that or not. Just dont be upset if people call you stupid. Even though they have a valid point too.

There were no radio transmissions from TWA 800 declaring hijacking.
The aircraft transponder was never set to the hijack code.
The wreckage shows no signs of chemical explosives, but rather fuel explosion.
What evidence do you know about?

It was not hijacked or shot down. The wire insulation used when it was built is unsafe.
