Yes, males can get breast cancer. It would be very rare for a 14 year old boy to have breast cancer but it could be a secondary chest tumor. You really need to go to a doctor for an immediate examination. Not because this might be breast cancer, but because any suspicous lump or bump on a young persons body needs to be clinically examined. Sometimes the ONLY symptom a young person that they have cancer is when they have a lump or bump. Go to your parents and tell them what your concern is . . this could be so many things . . it could be benign or it could be cancer. No one here can really tell you that, but you cannot rule out cancer either.
Cancer in teens is rare, but it happens and so you must always check out any suspicious lumps or bumps anywhere on the body, including the breast area.

Yes, males can (but rarely) get breast cancer. You, however are not even close to the age bracket where you would be at that minuscule risk. At your age, however, you are very much prone to develop a benign (harmless) cyst beneath your nipple. Although I'm a (male) nurse, I actually also have personal experience with this. I had a golf ball sized lump removed from under my left nipple when I was 16, and I remember asking the same question that you are. I was put under general anesthesia (day surgery, in and out of hospital within 8 hours)and they made a 1-inch curved incision around the border of my nipple and removed the lump. The scar is barely visible to me today (20 years later), and not noticeable to others. Hope this helps.
PS- I distinctly remember the doctor asking me if I smoked pot, and he said there was some sort of connection there. I (of course) lied through my teeth and denied ever smoking weed. I've never researched that, so I don't guarantee any accuracy there.

Yes,males can get breast cancer, but I doubt that is what's wrong in your case. This is very normal for boys your age. It may enlarge a little or go away, or it may appear on the other side but it is all normal. All males have a slight female influence in their hormomes as do females have males influences, and your hormones have just started to appear.
Cancer occurs when cells in the body divide and grow abnormally. Normally, cells throughout the body divide and grow as children's' bodies develop, and as adult bodies replace old or injured cells. During this methodical system, new cells form, grow, and stop at the appropriate time. When cancer occurs, cell growth becomes uncontrolled. Often, but not always, these cancer cells form into a tumor (although not all tumors are cancerous). Early detection and treatment are very important to increasing the patient's chances of recovery.

yes, males can get breast cancer. It is very rare and at 14 extremely rare. This lump could be many different things, scar tissue from and injury, a cyct of some sort, even a inflammed hair follicle. If it bothers you, have it checked. It;s better to be sssaaaafe expecially with the family history.
No cancer is not always tumors. There are many blood cancers. Cancer is just an abnormal growth of cells, in tissue, bone, blood ect,

Yes males can get breast cancer. The lump in the pectoral area is not necessarily breast cancer. It can be benign, but it can slo be Hodgkins which is a VERY highly treatable cancer, IF it's caught early. Please make an appointment tomorrow and when you're making the appointment tell them that it's to check out a lump. This will facilitate the availability of a sooner appointment date.
Hopefully it's nothing, but if it's something the sooner you get rid of it, the better off you'll be. This is not a good area in life to have any regrets about.
Call tomorrow. Malignant or not... either way, you'll win if you don't wait.

Yes, males can get breast cancer.
My Grandfather had it, and we had one man in my breast cancer support group.
BUT.......
It is uncommon, and would be even more so at your age.
These relatives are 2nd degree relatives to you, 1st degree relatives to your mother.
Having 2, 1st degree relatives with breast cancer increases your chances of the genetically linked form of breast cancer, but only 5% of cancers are genetically linked.
It is more likely to be something else, but get it checked by a Dr to be sure.
Cancer is usually thought of as tumour causing, but not always, eg leukemia is a cancer of the blood and does not form tumours.

yes they can. Show your parents or school nurse. It could be many things and is very likely NOT cancer, but men can get breast cancer. Not as young as you though, but anything abnormal should be checked out by a professional ASAP.
