Hopefully soon, so then people can concentrate more on what is important, rather than listening to being told what to do say and wear according to your religion...

I certainly do appreciate the non-Christians and unbelievers speaking up to say that you do not support making religion illegal.....it did this "fundie"'s heart good.

Our constitution does indeed guarantee that congress will never interfere with religion, in fact, they CAN NOT. But the USofA will not always be as we know it. She will fall.......we have many enemies, and our irons are in too many fires.

One day there will be a world government and the world will be a theocracy, and I don't think we will have a choice as to what religion it is..........

I believed this long before I became a "fundie", being one, has only caused me to watch the world politics in a different prespective.

I can't give you an accurate time frame, major change comes slowly, but it does come, besides I don't want to "preach end times" to you.

Never. In my country, it's illegal to make organized religion illegal. Though I personally don't feel highly structured organizations within religion are a good thing, I say live and let live.

when the constitution is no longer used... also, just because religion isn't embraced in governmental avenues as it used to be, doesn't necessarily mean religion is on the decline. I think we should be careful pushing any religion and or passing laws of morality because we don't know how long the people that believe as we do will be in power. If we set the precedent now with Christian beliefs what happens if there is ever a muslim or buddhist in power.... it's a slippery slope

As long as it is organized and institutionalized they will not be. As all organization are controlled by a central government all the way up to one who sit at the top of the Hierarchy - Satan himself.

All cultures, religions, Governments, World's Systems etc, all lies in the wicked One - Satan.

Those who are true believers of Christ- whether they are inside or outside institutional and organized Christianity are considered - outcasts, and cultists - those who are really free from satan's domination but under God's Kingdom.

You wanna know the truth? It will never be. I will now tell you the true future. The Catholic Church is going to join together with other protestant churches in order to heal the rift of Christianity. They will then legislate a Sunday law requiring people to go to church on Sunday. Those who refuse are going to be jailed, and eventually threatened with death. Sound possible? Nay, likely? Wanna know more? Just drop me a line, and I will fill in the rest of the details.

This may sound kooky and conspiratorial, but it isn't.

Interesting - I also love sitting back and watching the 'tolerant' people trying to step on the rights of others.

It will be legal as long as we have rights - as long as we can believe in what we want. Otherwise we will start to become a country like the one our ancestors wanted to escape all those centuries ago.

When they come for you, who will speak for yo? Who will be left after all others have been silenced?

It'll never be illegal in this country, and I along with the vast majority of atheists, would never want it to be.

We know what "freedom of religion" truly means, and regardless of how much we disagree with theistic religions, we wouldn't want to take away someone's right to believe what they want.

I feel about this the same way I feel about getting drunk or smoking weed:

"It's really stupid, and I don't think anyone should do it, but I think everyone should have the freedom to do it if they want to."

What's wrong? You oppose a Bill of Rights? You don't think people should have freedoms? You think government should rule our lives instead? You must not be an American. What crap hole country are you from?
