So Bran flaks, or Brown toast, dont worry about using butter, you dont have enough on toast to make a mess up of your heart (although flora would let you think other wise)
Snack - a fruit snake at brunch will perk you up and give you energy, and vitamins :)

Meat and veggies is a very strange breakfast. Try for fresh fruit and whole grains instead. If you do not need to diet you can eat from all the food groups and too much of anything is not good for you. Lunch can be a sandwich, chips and fresh fruit. Dinner can be pasta,a salad and dessert(your choice) Watch out for too much soda or even sugar loaded fruit juice. Milk is always good for a 12-13 year old.

For this age, there are no real suggestions for menus. Basically, eat about 20 g of carbs a day, mainly coming from non starchy vegies. 4 oz of meat for lunch and dinner and no bread if you can help it. Healthy eating suggestions, recipes, etc go to www.atkins.com.
They have message boards, professional therapists, etc all to assist you. It's not just a diet, it's a good way of life.

breakfast: a 2-egg omelet with ham, onion and cheese in it, a piece of fresh fruit and either an 8oz glass of juice or milk.
lunch: a sandwich on whole-grain bread, fruit and water
snack: (now is the time to give in to temptation) chips and soda
dinner: a small salad, pan-fried chicken, rice and milk
hope this is helpful
