Solitude and peace. Oneness with nature. The thrill of stalking the prey and outsmarting them to take bits of feather or plastic or metal. And the thrill of playing the fish.

It is relaxing. I like just putting a worm on the hook, adding a bobber, tossing it in, and sitting back watching the river or clouds go by. It gives me plenty of time for reflecting on life and once in a while I even catch a fish.

well fishing can be done year round and hunting is only in cold months. I do not sport fish. I fish to eat

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and being out in nature. I really could care less about catching fish, just out enjoying the scenery.
