I'd like to know if those who possess a PA Driver's License, but are not yet 18 are permitted to purchase a vehicle without parental consent or having an adult co-sign on the vehicle.

I was planning on paying for it with cash, and my mom is putting it on her insurance policy, if that helps anyone. The car would be registered and titled in my name, with my mother's consent, of course. She simply cannot be there for the transaction.

If you are under 18, your signature is legally meaningless unless you are an emancipated minor. You cannot hold title to any property in your own name. You can, of course, have an adult co-sign, but it would remain the property of the adult only until you turned 18, at which point you would both own it.

You could not secure a loan on a car because of your age. You could pay cash for one and get it titled. The problem would be with insurance. Many companies will not sign a contract with anyone under 18. Not saying all, but most. It MAY be possible that your parents could have your license pulled since they are responsible for you and your actions. Some States allow that.

If the call is such as you assert it particularly is and would not show your mom-regulation as a lien holder on the call you may turn the vehicle in to the police as been stolen. in case your able you may flow and get the vehicle.(thieve it returned ). then if she wont to attempt and take you to courtroom enable her. it is not proper if she paid for the vehicle are actually not as long as her call isn''t on the front of the call as being the lien holder.flow get your vehicle returned ,in case you have a key to it then merely take it.
