Home health requires that nursing or physical therapy is the primary service. Then you could get a little help from a home health aide. This requires a doctor's order.
Most likely, if she needs more than this, she will have to pay for it. If this becomes a major hardship, some states have a program for low income people for some limited help, but not around the clock.
If she needs more help, you could consider a live-in arrangement, still having to pay this person, plus room and board.
Beyond this, you need to consider other care arrangements, such as assisted living, intermediate care or a skilled nursing home.

most home health care companies are great at what they do. i would look in the yellow pages or ask friends for a reference because they would know first hand if the company was good. these health care professionals are good at what they do and expecially good at getting people back on there feet. i would call around to see all the prices(usually per wk) my grandma paid 300 dollars a week for someone to come in like twice a day to cook and clean and take care of her.

I don't have cancer, but I do have diabetes. My Dr. ordered that I soak my feet in hot water, twice a week. There is a HHC office here in town, and they put me on "Direct Hire". I can hire, (and fire), my own HHC person. She works five days a week.
The state pays her salary, and the HHC company does all the book work, and issues the paychecks. My girl that works here, gets $9.25 an hour, and is paid by the state. I don't have to pay anything.

These services vary from country to country, state to state and even town to town.
You haven't mentioned the type of cancer, why she requires the care, and the type of care she is needing.
Pallative care is different too........
Check with your local council services as to what they can provide and what they need in the way of Dr referals etc.
