i want to know the myths about smoking...i heard smoking can curb your apetite, release tension, and etc....

Dear Suzie,do not start the bad habit of skoking if you are still a non smoker.Smoking has no benefit at all.Oppositely smoking is dangerous for you health.According to a doctor smoking will bring some illness such as high blood tension,
lung cancer disease,impotency to men,bad effect to the fetus ,heart attack etc.The pregnant mother who has a bad habit of smoking will get a premature birth.Your mouth will have bad smell of smoke.Your teeth and nail of fingers will be yellow because of nicotine.Smoking is burning your money and will have bad impact to your health.Smoking is doing nothing.There is a myth feeling that smoking will curb your apetite and release your tension.But in facct it will ruin your body.Curbing your apetite is better by fasting and realeasing your stress is better by doing your hobbies such as reading,watching TV,watching fishes swimming in your aquarium,planting flowers in the garden etc.These hobbies have a lot of benefits.Fasting will make you healthier and slimmer.As a muslim I am fasting on every monday and thursday every week and in the ramadan month we are fasting in a fullmonth.

I am a smoker... I fully realize there ARE dangers to the habit, but as an adult, I am able to weigh the risks I am willing to assume. I don't need government propaganda to do my thinking for me... That being said, if you don't already smoke, don't start! The link below has some great information, from BOTH sides... I doubt any of the hard core anti smoking nuts will even bother to read information from the other side though... For me, it IS a (legal at the moment... more or less)relaxant...

lots of things can curb your appetite. water for instance. smoking only releases tension in people who smoke and have become addicted. everyone that starts smoking gets WIRED. Nicotine is a stimulant. It is the body's reaction to nicotine that causes the calming effect once you are addicted. that's how you tell. It kills. I makes you look bad. Gives you bad breath and grey teeth. It causes you, and everything around you to smell bad. There is NOTHING beneficial about it.
