What does it mean to be in the field of costomer service? or a regional staff member? I wondered if cashier and bagging fell under costomer service. If you have any suggestions for good places to work, stores not cities/states/countries, I'd be happy to hear of some, as long as you didn't have to go through college to get them.

I believe almost all sales staff are considered customer service , whether it is Target or Verizon .

Most places require that you be articulate , and very accurate with $$$$ ( when you work a register ) .

Some places , customer service are the people who answer the incoming phone calls from people or write up repair orders at garages .

Customer service is, for the most part, simply working at front desks, answering phone calls, or responding to emails.

What do you love to do? Look at the careers that go with what you are good at..what job do you look at and say I would love to have that job...go to the people and ask to be an apprentice..learn from the best and be successful...because you do what you love...the word love means-work made visable....go to a career site on the web and take some career oriented tests that show you what fields you would be good in.....then when you get that twinge in your stomach....go for that one...
