He is 38 and I am 46. We both are mature and he seems like a gentleman with no mental issues and we are attracted to each other. We are also at a good career level.

Ah thats nice why should it be a issue you are both at a stage in your life where a relationship has the ability to prosper without distractions such as career advancment or study ect, I would say it is just perfect. Why not there is no issue go for it, have fun find love and be happy. All my relationships have allways had an age gap of 10 years or more and age has never been an issue there. From experince ppl may have there opinions but that is just cause there are small minded. Dont worry about what anybody thinks of this just go and be happy ok, good luck to you.

Depends on how old you are. Then we might know more how to answer the flinging question. My last wife and I were married 15 years and she is 5 years older than me. Not eight but not too far off. We did not have an age problem. It depends on the maturity of both parties involved.

No that is not too young! My current love is 7 years younger than I am. An we are planning on one day getting married. An hopefully it is this year. Then one before this one was 12 years younger. To me that was to much a difference in age. But she did not have a problem with it. Her favorite saying was "Love knows no age limit between adults".

yes it is alright but it also depends on how old you guys are. If you are in your late 20's and he is early 20's that is alright or maybe even older is ok. But do not date a guy that is younger then 20 that is just way too much.

Ask yourself "Do I really love this person?". If the answear is yes than age doesnt matter. Dont let something as little as that get in the way of a good relationship.

My daughter's father is 9 years younger than me, but he is 9 years more immature too!! I love him, but we are no longer together because he couldn't grow up. Just be honest with what you actually see in him and don't expect him to be more than he is. You can't change him, you can only wait for him to want to change. Are you willing to wait?

I guess that depends on how old you are? How old is he?

My partner is younger than me, and I do prefer younger men...

Are you happy? Is he? At the end of the day you're gonna follow your heart anyway, as us humans do :)
