When you purchased your Wrangler you became part of a new family. So I would like to be the first to welcome you to the Jeep family. Please help keep the tradition alive and wave to all other Wrangler drivers you see. And as they say "It's a Jeep thing you (others) just wouldn't understand."

It's a Jeep thing. Which is a quote that I have read on many Jeep's bumper stickers. My friend drives a Wrangler and my other buddy has an old old wagoneer and they both get waves every time they drive by another jeep. Kinda the same thing with motorcycles, if you notice next time you are driving behind a bike, if another goes by in the other direction they will more likely than not wave to eachother. I used to own a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS which that generation of car is pretty rare at least where I live, so the few times I would drive by another one we would always wave.
Just to let you know your question headline says "wangler" not "wrangler", I hope that wasn't intentional lol.

It's called the Jeep Wave. Jeep Wrangler and CJ drivers wave at each other was they pass. I took a 2007 Jeep Wrangler for a test drive and pulled it off with another Jeep driver.

I took a neighbor from Reno to the Salton Sea in my Jeep and he asked me if I knew all those other Jeep drivers because I was waving to them! Its quite hard to explain, but it is fun.

Yep it's a Jeep Thing and unless you drive one, you wouldn't understand!

Most Jeep owners wave, at least most Wrangler owners. Now you're one of us, just wave back and welcome to the family.

Here in Texas it's just called "drivin friendly". Whenever Yankees come down here they just don't seem to understand the concept.
