Well...considering that everyone who "invested" in it was killed, I'd say it was not the smartest way for them to have spent their gold.

I would have cashed it in today and bought HP stock - it is low and seems like a good buy right now.

Maybe I should post this in finance forum in case anyone has a golden calf to pawn.

Yes, if you are investing in people, as Moses was, that action saved a lot.
But man, that thing would be worth its weight in gold today.

I'd say a few hundred pounds maybe a thousand but i have no idea. I don't remember that story quite good. i cant remember if he threw it down or pushed it down or rolled it down a hill or what. It depends on how it was broken. If it was thrown down it would have had to been light for a man to lift it besides samson

Well, seeing as how they would end up wandering around in a desert for forty yrs, I don't think it would've done them much good. Probably would've been quite a hindrance.
