I wonder what your opinion is...

1. When did God create dinosaurs, and why did He create them?

2. Do you think dinosaurs coexisted with man on the earth?

3. Do you think Noah had dinosaurs with him in the ark?

4. Do you think, dinosaurs were already extinct when Adam & Eve were created?

Dinosaurs died out in the great flood because they were too big to fit in Noah's ark.

1. I think dinosaurs were created with the animals, because well, it talks about behomoths and large creatures in the bible.

2. Yes well obviously with adam and eve, but i believe they existed. The flood might have wiped them out.

3. Maybe, maybe not, if he did they probably were tamed by God. Other wise, well you know jurassic park.

4. I do not understand this question, if you read genesis.. the earth was created in 6 days and God rested on the 7th. If dinosaurs were extinct when Adam and Eve were created, why would God create dinosaurs for them to live only such a short time?

omg!! okay...try to find the Kent Hoven series...there's a couple of the videos that are just about dinosaurs...from a christian perspective. But...from what I have accumulated over the years in this area...I believe He created dinosaurs along with all the other creautres, I guess He just thought dinosaurs were a cool-looking thing (it's all created by Him...so He only knows the reason) Yes, I think they coexisted at one time (atleast before the first sin) I believe Noah DID have them on the ark with him. And no, I don't think they were extinct before Adam and Eve because they would've been extinct in like 2-4 days (I can't recall the order of Creation right now...and that's IF God used earthly days...which I believe he did since he told a human what to write) and if you watch Kent Hoven...you might even be convinced that some might possibly still be in existence today. Hoven has good reasons of why they went extinct and all so I HIGHLY recommend those to you.

1.God created the dinosaurs the same day as the other animals. WHy? Why did he create a porcupine??

2. Yes.

3. Yes. Maybe some were on board as eggs?

4. No, Adam named them.

Before the flood the whole world was the same climate. It had never rained before and the earth was surrounded by a canopy of vapor which acted like a greenhouse with a constant temp. During the great flood the canopy was opened and all the water came to the earth and completely changed the climate because the canopy was gone. There wasn't as much for the dinosaurs to eat and they subsequently died.

1) When he created all other animals. Why? Who knows? Why did he create opossums or sloths or giraffes? I believe all animals had a purpose in the ecobalance/food chain much like they do today. I also believe that all people have a God-ordained purpose as well.

2) Yes, there's fossilized evidence of this (e.g. Glenrose TX in the bedrock of a river basin - think maybe it is the Biloxi river???)

3) Yes - but nothing ever said that he took the largest, most mature animals on the earth. For practical purposes, many of the animals were probably young and immature - no need to load up the largest ones on the planet for the voyage.

4) No

Additional thoughts... before the flood, there was an envelope of water around the earth, protecting the inhabitants from the aging effects of the sun. People who lived before the flood generally lived much longer lives because of this protection. Dinosaurs were lizard-like, in fact the term itself means "terrible lizard". Lizards continue to grow until they die. Without the aging affects of the sun, these animals would have grown larger and larger as their lifespans would have been much longer.

I don't know for sure, obviously the fossil evidence reveals they are historical. I think much of the dating done on these takes in a lot of presuppositions in regards to time sequences that I would not necessarily give. But to answer:

1. He created them before Adam and Eve, on the 5th day. I am an old earther, but I believe in a specific literal 6 day creation.

2. Yes, I do. There is fossil evidence of footprints of man coexisting with dinosaurs.

3. I don't know. I believe in the "kind" argument that many of the species around today generated from a smaller set of ancestors, so Noah's animals could well have populated the animals we have today. I would lean toward yes, but again, I have no factual basis other than theory for this.

4. I lean toward no. There are instances in scripture of mentioning large reptilian land and sea creatures ... but again, not sure.

I'm not sure about all of that, but yes, dinosaurs coexisted with man, God created them in the same week of creation as every other thing in existence. no, dinosaurs were not extinct by the time adam and eve were created, as they were all created in the same week. go to this website to find out more information: http://www.christiancourier.com/articles/read/dinosaurs_and_the_bible

good luck!

I wouild say that he created Dinos when he created all the other animals. Yes they did coexist with men so did lions tigers, sharks etc. Dinos weren't extinct before Adam and Eve were created because that means that death would already had to be in the world, but death entered into the world after the fruit was eaten. I don;t know for sure if the dinos existed before the flood. They all could have just died out after a few generations and before noah and the ark came around. If they didn't then i'd have to say that yes, noah did have them on the ark with him.

Dinosaurs were extinct when Adam and Eve were created. Creation did not last a literal 6 days, because for God a day is "like" a thousand years. This process took thousands of years. Dinosaurs were probably created, temporarily, to maintain some natural equilibrium, then.

According to the Creation Museum, Noah took dinosaurs on the ark. I've always wondered why God would save dinosaurs planned for extinction while letting innocent human babies drown. Or for that matter, why God would save rats, rattlesnakes, komodo dragons, black widow spiders, etc, over humans.

There is fossil evidence that man and dinosaur were on the earth at the same time, though we don't know just how long. (I wish I knew details, but I don't. There were some fossilized footprints found. The human footprints were at a short distance, then a set of dinosaur tracks joined the human tracks, which became farther apart -- running, no doubt -- until they abruptly disappeared.)

God did not include anything specific in His Word about when He created dinosaurs, so I don't think it should matter much to us. If you're just curious, fine, but please don't base your faith on something God didn't even have included in the Bible.
