there are two types of hawaii cruises. one you fly into hawaii and go on the ship around the islands stopping briefly in the islands. if you wanted to spend more time in hawaii you would not have as much chance doing that on a hawaii cruise.
the other type is one that goes from the west coast to hawaii and it usually takes 15 to 17 days.
Carribean cruises there are alot of choices there in ports of call and different cruise lines. good luck.

Having just got back from a cruise to Hawaii, I would advise going to Hawaii. It's a beautiful island and lots to see and do. It's US territory so no worries about passport and you can rent your own car to explore instead of paying for costly excursions.

I would say western carribean...if this is ur first cruise, then i would stick with western carribean because it would be much cheaper than hawaii...but if you are an experienced cruiser, i would go with hawaii..here are some link that will help you make your decision:
