I know the question didn't make a lot of sense but what I mean is: say there's this guy that you like but you don't necessarily want to be in a relationship with him you just want to build a friendship, but he wants a relationship or nothing at all. Like he thinks your wasting his time telling him you like him when you don't even want him as a boyfriend. So he just decides to not talk to you all together, and not even give a friendship a chance: what do you do in a situation like this?

Actually you make more sense then most of these people on here!!!! Really and truly!!! See your seeing the true nature of relationships, your FEELING the truth you wonderful person you!! And besides that you even stood up for it! Man I could kiss you, but that aside, I'm sorry but our society doesn't quite and truly understand how to have relationships based on the heart, and instead elect to go with the pride, the ego. See as far as he is concern its ether romantic love, or no love, not a great way to live ones life, but thats pretty much the way MOST people are. DON'T LET THAT CHANGE YOU THOU!!!! See your doing it right, at the center of any deep, meaningful, and fulifilling relationship IS a friendship. Without that your just two strangers that love each other, and who whats that? I'd rather be deeply inlove with a friend, then trust my heart to a darn stranger, which was the bs he was throwing at you. Granted he doesn't see it that way, but thats what happens with romantic love, it is love, but only apart of it. Love can go much deeper then that, besides friends if the relationship is great, and everything is flowing, have no limits to the possible relaitonship they can make. But lovers are just stuck as lovers, trying to help fulifll that one romantic dream. While with friends becoming lovers, its all about honestly, its all about being there for each other and loving unconditional even IF the dream falls. Just he wasn't worth your time, nor weather you know it or not, was he mature enough for you. DOn't let them cute eyes distrate you from that mind that isn't so... cute? Also just so you know how right you are an ANCIENT chinesse proverb (Got to give those guys credit!)

Friends can make wonderful lovers, but lovers rarly ever become decent friends!
