Actually, I have a cat that does that too. It is just their personality. Mine is 13 years old and perfectly healthy, she just likes to bump her head against you.

no he just wants to get affection. yes even from the weirdest of objects. my cat does the same thing. usualy only to me, but occasionally to other things too.

rubb and bump ur head against his. crazy i know. looks kinda weird too, but my cat loves it.

No its not odd every cat I have had does this. They often purr as they do this - its an affectionate, happy cat thing.

not really, are you around when he does it?? My cat does this, until I make a meowing sound at him or "kitty-kitty" then he comes to me... I always believed he was just waiting for me to notice him and invite him to be loved on... then again there's always the whole "he's spreading his scent" thing...

that's actually pretty funny...lol...cute if you think about it...
maybe you should get your cat to bump into something hard, and it will learn its lesson but not doing it anymore.

if it's more like rubbing (which i can't really tell due to the grammatical structure of your sentence), then it's just his way of showing affection. cats also mark their people and their territory with their phermones this way. don't worry, this doesn't have a smell.

I know of at lease two other cats who do the same thing (mine is one of them). It's normal, although I'm not exactly sure why.

sounds like he is just rubbing his scent on things and massaging his ears. I wouldn't be worried or anything.
