A career that involves math. I know I'm only 13 but I want to get an idea of what I want to do. I'm smart, and am in honors math and like doing it. I also like psychology, but I know those two don't really go together. If they could go together, could you tell me what career involves both? Thanks.

Careers that use math:

Scientist, Physicist, Engineer, Teacher, Professor, Accountant, Statistician

Read the Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov. It involves predicting the outcome of a small historic intervention on an entire planet or an entire solar system. It combines statistics and psychology to form the technique of mass psychology.

I think psychologists today use many statistics as they profile people like serial killers and document what they have in common so perphaps they can be spotted and stopped or helped before they actually commit a crime or before they kill again.

Look into the career of criminal profiler.

If you like math, you might like studies and a career in computers or in engineering - people who like math often do.

Good luck. And it's good to be thinking about what you want to do in the future, but don't think you have to have an absolute decision anytime soon.

If you're smart and can think logically (math) and are interested in people (psychology), then why not go into medicine?
