as u said hate is the extreme of love. love can bring the good in u and when u love someone u'll try 2 bring the good in them but when u hate someone even when u dont take an action 4 ur hate it'll eat u and it'll cosume all ur +ve energy and time also hate'll lead u 2 other sins just thinking bad about the other person is a sin in the end u'll b the only loser in this situation cause the person u hate'll b living his life normally not knowing or caring and'll conduct better in his life.
if the person u hate paid the prize and u r glad 4 whatever happened 2 him , this is bad u should not hope bad 4 anyone even if himself is a bad person.
hate can destroy mountains ofcourse cause some people take hate 2 the extreme and they may harm that person.
fear and hate are a totally different fellings u cant overcome one by the other if u do so u'll b still a prisoner and a slave for ur -ve feeligs and u also cant live controlled by either of these feelings.
try 2 forgive i know it is difficult no one can do this by a magic stick it needs some patience,faith and practice.

You're making the 'is a kind of' fallacy. Love and hate are both powerful emotions, but that doesn't allow their respective values to rub off on each other.
Love, peace, pleasure and goodness belong to one set, and hate, conflict, pain and evil to another. Opposites are not, by definition, similar - even if they form a class.
Hate is always bad, unless it's targeted at another negative: you can hate pain, for example; or intolerance.

Hate is not always related to love.
Enemies in far away places who never knew you but hate you, have not necessarily ever loved you.
Hate eats people up. It is a negative feeling that is not conducive to anything good coming from it.
Hate leads to all sorts of sins.
There is one fear that is good. The fear of the Lord.
*Luke 12
5 But I will shew you whom you shall fear: fear ye him, who after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear him.
Otherwise...
* Psalms 26
1 The psalm of David before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?
