HA! I can't believe that guy is famous. He's from around my way and he was the hyped young local comic back in the 90s. He disapeared from the local scene for a long time and next thing you know he has hit comedy albums.

People would ask me, "Have you ever heard of Dane Cook?" and I'd say something stupid like "Whatever happened to that guy? I thought he would have made it big some day". Then people would look at me like at had four heads because to them he was the new hot comedian.

If your desperate, I know a few people who might still have his cell# from 1999. I know for a fact his dad's address and # wouldn't be hard to track down, lol.

I find myself in a rare moment of total agreement with Father K on this one.

Cook's like that one guy in the bar---any bar, EVERY bar---who talks too much and too loud, and thinks he's funny when he's just not. Fingernails on a chalkboard not, alternating with slipping into a coma not.

'Spose I'll give you cute, though. You must be young enough that the whole scraggly unshaven slacker look is still hot . . . women in my dating range have graduated to guys in suits. Well, guys in suits and *firemen.* :-)

If you were Baptized, yes...you are...

But, I have to tell you something...I'm a huge fan of comedy. I've seen all the best, live. Robin Williams, Argus Hamilton, Sam Kinnison, Richard Pryor, Patton Oswald, Dennis Leary, Paula Poundstone....

And (IMHO) Dane Cook is the *most* un-funny person to ever take the stage.

I just don't get it.

A Danish Chef,huh?...I suppose it would be compatable with Christendom. I see nothing that would be contraindicated, with the passion and Christianity. He is one lucky, cook. Sorry Mel...LOL
