Do you prefer to make your masterpieces in oil, watercolor, or acrylic? (Any colored pencil or pastel masters?) I'm just curious....

Well, I love acrylic, thats what I've always used. I'm taking a watercolor class right now so I assume that that will be my next medium. I really like colored pencil, but suck at pastels. I want to do more with colored pencil but don't have the time because I'm in school and have to do all the other projects for other classes!! Oh well maybe later!! Thanks for the question!

Oil is the best, the versality of it and the drying time just makes it a perfect medium for me.
I tried acrylics and water colors, but the drying time of acrylics and the darkening of paint after drying just don't do it for me. I think acrylic is very unstable and it is hard to get good work out of it. Watercolors are good but take a lot of doodling. Pastels and drawing is awsome and should be more appreciated by people. I sold used to sell a lot of drawings when I was a little bit younger.

I love acrylic and oil, but i never mix them. I do them separatley. I hate watercolor though, it's not specialty. But I'm trying to experment with pastels/oil pastels/charcoal combined this year. But i will always do my works or canvas on acrylic or oil.

I've worked with airbrush, watercolor, acrylics, and pencil, but prefer oils. I'm able to achieve the affects of all the latter but with much less effort. My work can be checked out at hellosanantonio.com under artist name ''Guerro''.

I love oil painting when working on canvas. It's fun to go back and forth between making a work really smooth and giving the next loads of texture.
When working on other surfaces I tend to use acrylic.

I love oil paints. They can be easily manipulated and the colors are so much richer than acrylics.

i actually use acrylic house paint which sucks. i get it for free though so i just take what i can get. i use it on masonite panels. i like the masonite, i would prefer to use better quality acrylic or oil paint though. probably eventually when i go to school or something.

Lately I have been using water color it is a cleaner
paint and I have children so it is not toxic like oils...
I like the clean look of water color also....Oils are so messy...
