i want my hair smooth and straight, but i don't want to use volume. can i use it with hair thickening gel or will they just counter act each other? any suggestions? Thanks!

Don't use gel w/ a flat iron. It will just become a crispy mess. Plus most gels have alcohol so your hair will be even more dried out.

If you don't want to loose volume then flat iron first, then turn your head over & fluff it w/ your fingers.

I use the "sammy" product. a pink bottle. it helps smoothen, and straightern your hair. use after u take a shower, then blow dry, or air dry. the bottle isnt expensive only like 5.99 at walgreens
