Ahhh I hope so :-)

Because of my job I see animals euthanised daily sometimes because it's the kindest thing to do, sometimes because the owners are complete @rses!!

We had one client about 5yrs ago, who after we had PTS his dog gave me acarrier bag with something in it.
Through floods of tears he asked that the bag be place with the dog for cremation.

When he had gone I looked in the bag, it was a video of the animated film called all dogs go to heaven. :-(
That one really got to me and I had a cry myself.

So I'm not interested in what any religious person had to say in my mind all animals go to their version of heaven!

Nowhere does Scripture explicitly state that animals do not have souls...There is nothing in Scripture I know of that would preclude the possibility of animals' continued existence...The Bible does give us some reason to hope that departed animals will be restored. We read in the Bible that redemption is a cosmic matter. The whole creation is destined to be redeemed through the work of Christ (Romans 8:21), and we see the images of what heaven will be like; beautiful passages of Scripture tell us about the lion and lamb and other animals being at peace with one another.(Isaiah 11:6-8). Whenever heaven is described, though it may be in highly imaginative language, it is a place where animals seem to be present. Whether these are animals newly created for the new heavens and the new earth, or they are the redeemed souls of our pets that have perished, we can't know for sure.

Yes animals go to the spirit world just like humans do! Anyone that has loved an animals and looked into their eyes can see their soul and intelligence. A lot of the time when mediums do readings and loved ones come through so do their pets!. As long as you have a bond with your pet it will be there waiting for you! :)

For the Christians that think animals just turn to dust and only people that worship God in one their particular church only go to heaven and everyone else goes to hell, clearly your arrogance and ego knows no bounds. I feel sorry for your pets as you obviously don't know how to love an animal since you look at it as lacking soul and see it as something beneath you. Really sad and pathetic way to look at life, no wonder there are so many strays and full animal shelters. :(

One could say that when the death of shell occurs, what is OF the SPIRIT-returns to the SPIRIT, and the rest becomes fertilizer.

In the Leviticus, it says that its the BLOOD that is the LIFE FORCE of all things. One reason that many of the leviticus laws concern the BLOOD. Even when a hunter kills an animal there were special rituals of respect that were supposed to be performed---else people that didn't do them were excluded from the people of god.

I believe they do. I will tell you why I think this. Some years ago, I had a cat who died after 13 years of loving devotion. I was depressed for three days. On the third night I had a dream. And in the dream I was looking at the gate on my fence in my front yard. My cat then walked past me right to the gate, and stopped in front of it. She then turned her head, looking back at me with this expression as if to see "See you later." She then turned back at the gate, went straight through it and disappeared! There are many schools of thought on this, but I say, we do see them on the other side.

There seem to be animals in the millenial Kingdom. Whether they'd actually be the same "Spot the dog" that one might have as a child, nobody knows. I do know this, whatever we could come up with, God comes up with even better, so it shouldn't be a concern :)

I'm not sure about Heaven. Honestly, I can't answer that in terms of Christianity since I'm not Christian.

BUT I believe their spirits get rewarded. Be it in the Summerland or the next life.

nobody has answered using the bible, so prepare to give me "best answer" as to what the bible says concerning this .

"For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. 20 All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. 21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?"
Ecclesiastes 3:18

Religion teaches that human beings are the only things with souls and that they are not animals (which actually, of course, they are). This is a rather arrogant view really.

All living creations made by God have souls. Animals have souls and will abide in their heavenly abode just as any righteous human will.
