I do believe there is such a thing as evil. However, I also know there is a danger in defining evil subjectively or merely from a human perspective. I believe there must be some objective view of good and evil that transcends the human perspective.

Something isn't evil merely because I define it as evil; something is evil because it is evil - it is an attack on and an affront to Truth and Beauty.

While I cannot always clearly see or define what evil is, I do know that it exists, and that I should beware of it. I believe that I should oppose it and I do not believe that it can be pacified or ignored for very long. Because evil exists, and because it actively seeks the destruction of what is good - indeed, it seeks destruction of everything. It is something every man and woman must face at some point in their lives.

I like to write the word "evil" on a piece of paper and hold it up to a mirror in a dark room illuminated only with the light of a candle. Then after reading what is written I pretend that I have some secret hidden knowledge.

Evil is the absence of feeling for humanity in ADDITION to the need to inflict pain and suffering. Evil is choice to commit acts of violence. Evil is the opposite of compassion and grace and love.

That's the simplest way I can define it.

It is far too complex. It would turn into an essay.

Blessed be.

Evil is something that works against you. It could be anything. I think evil is not the just the devil. Iam sure the Devil puts on a fake face so you could go to him.

Anything that you do to others that you would not like being done to you is "evil" to me. You don't need religion to tell you that.

E_V_I_L means to L_I_V_E backwards. Backward away from your true self. Following your ego mind instead of your spirit mind, your heart. When you do this you have L_I_V_E_D away from the truth of you and are D_E_V_I_L.
Its really quite simple but has been bastardized by you know who.
