in the morning i have a good breakfast have a good lunch but when i get off work. i eat a small snack. and then it does not end. once i start i can not stop eating. one cookie is a start and then it ends with 10. ill wait till supper and eat everything. i dont know why i do this i am not even hungry. what do i do

You have to eat 5-6 small meals a day which will give you energy when you need it and not have any extra left to store in fat reserves which happens when you eat 3 big ones and it keeps your blood sugar more stable.
you are a binge eater so i suggest recognize when its a binge and when you eat to fuel your body. replace binging with something else to keep yourself busy - read a book, go for a jog, take out trash, wash dishes, do laundry etc.
drinking water helps too - often people misinterpret thirst with hunger.

You Will have to discipline yourself. Chew sugar free gum and drink lots of water.
