Alright so I'm 14, 130 pounds, 5,8. I havn't eaten in five days going on six. I want to know how much longer must I starve myself to see results? I've been drinking water, maybe a glass a day. Just tell me approx. how many days please. I don't wanna hear about "You'll gain it back, you'll die, etc." I just need an answer please. And also after my fasting, I'm going to eat 250 - 500 calories a day from then on. Will it work? Someone help me please I really need it. And thank you so much if you do. It's appreciated! :)

I think you are perfect the way you are!!! Eating that few calories, your body thinks it is starving and you don't lose weight.

How much do you want to loose? If you are doing a short term fast you need to drink lots of water. It has no calories so it won't make you gain weight. Long term fasts at any age will cause your metabolism to slow down so you won't loose anything. Your body needs more than 250-500 calories a day just to stay alive, more like 2,000 if you are physcially active. A safer way to eat and stay healthy and still loose a few pounds to be to search something like ediets or weightwatchers. Also, I think your self image of being fat is very skewed. 130 pounds for someone who is 5'-8" is right on target. Maybe you just need to do some toning exercises. Don't look to Nicole Richie as a role model (other than her being pregnant right now) Look for someone like Hilary Duff or Mandy Moore...a little extra flesh on the places like the stomach, hips and theighs is quite sexy.

Truth is you probably WON'T see results. You will for one, start to retain what water to you do drink. Also, the hunger will catch up to you eventually most likely resulting in a binge- especially if you have not fasted before. On the flip side if you make fasting a habit you will indeed start starving and gaining weight. See a dietician and do a metabolic test, then determine your daily caloric intake w/ him or her. Truly, they will help you to lose weight.

OMG!!!!! that is not heavy, your the right weight!!!!! starving never works, and I'll tell you again it can actually make you gain weight and on to die, stop starving yourself, if you want to lose weight, get special k-bars, slim fast, special diet foods, eat veggies! and water is good, fruit has a lot of sugar in it so try not to eat to much, but you need some dairy and protein, you need to stay in shape not just skinny, I hope you'll think about this before you try to starve yourself again, and guys don't like skinny twig girls, they like that your in shape, curvs, not fat but just right, not twig skinny!

Starving yourself actually has the opposite effect. Starving yourself forces the body to defend itself against starving (the starvation response), which amounts to: slowing your metabolism; devouring your muscle for energy; conserving fat for future use. If you want to lose weight, you need to do the opposite of what you're doing. Eat healthy foods frequently (every 2 - 3 hours), be as active as possible, and -- very important -- drink lots of water. Sounds like you are on the verge of an eating disorder, my friend. You might want to consult a licensed nutritionist/dietician and a personal trainer to get you on a healthy program for success. You're doing it all wrong and yes, you are going to permanently hurt yourself and achieve nothing but sickness (and you still won't lose weight).

You'll be really skinny when you're dead. You need a psychiatrist and a cheeseburger.
