Awww, thats cute. You should let your wife in on the joke some time soon. Some dog breeds will have a special connection to only one family member. You may have stolen her dog......lol

No offense, but that isn't very nice. I feel bad for your wife. Having a dog isn't about a popularity contest. And I really hope you are not mean to your dog as your wife states. Poor little guy is caught in the middle of your childlike behavior.
Good luck dude... there are a hell of a lot of women on this board! :)

I don't think your wife really mean it.
My husband bought me a Yorkie 2 months ago. I am the one feed her, pamper her, clean up all the mess. My husband is the one play the bad guy. Yet, my puppy get so exciting around him. Kiss him whenever he comes back from work. I am so jealous in a very happy way.

it isn't your fault! explain this to your wife... act like you care for the dog and when the pup goes to you bring him/her to your wife and say "lets go see mommy" after a while the puppy will treat you the same. Be a lot nicer about the problem and don't give reasons for your wife to be jealous

I am jealous of my husband and my puppy in a good way. It makes me love him more to see him love the puppy. I try to make them both love me the most but I'll never win!

Sounds like you need another dog for her. And this one can be yours. I have 6 in the house currently. They choose their people. Two are Momma's boys. One is a Daddy's boy, and the other three pick a kid as needed. They will all show me favor over the rest of the house, but none challenge the two mommy's boys for my attention.

Not funny! My husband and I share our love for our dogs and we show it all the time, don't try to hise it from the other person just to make them feel bad when the dog likes you better. My dogs are smarter than to fall for that ploy anyway. Dogs usually are good judges of character.

Are you on drugs??? First of all, think of the message you are sending to the puppy by "ignoring" it while your wife is around. That poor thing is going to grow up so confused. One minute you act like you love it, the next mijnute you are ignoring it. Put yourself in your puppie's paws. You called it, my friend, evil. Not hahahahahaha. Idiot, idiot, idiot idiot. Grow up.

I can understand you except it isn't a dog situation! My dad doesn't really care about me but when my mom is gone, he treats me with alot of toys. When my mom is near, he stops lol! Me and my dad were closer when I was young! That was when I was little but now they treat me like the same!
