1. Ignore the meaning of the word and go onto to the next verse

2. Give up reading the Bible except for you came across by "chance"

3. Learn the definition of the word

4. If you learned the definition of the word, did you use an alternate translation, dictionary and concordance, or just a dictionary?

5. If you used either a dictionary or concordance, did you do this most of the time you came across a word you didn't understand?

Question; Did you realize that the scriptures give different 'definitions to words than are commonly used presently here in the USA? After all, that is part of why there is division in Christianity, and probably why scripture instructs Jews and Christians to have 'two or more witnesses' not one (self? man being a god).

or assume someone made a mistake in it's translation... or found that no matter how you thought about it or how much it just doesn't make sense in the real world.......and if it really came from god, then it was god's responsibility to be very clear other wise it's not a god worth knowing.

LEXICONS
CONCORDENCES
ALTERNATE VERSIONS
COMPARE the usage of the same word elsewhere in the same version using Strongs #

Methods are many.

It really isn't that complex. But I have a great quote on the subject:

"It ain't the parts of the Bible that I can't understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do understand."

Remember the parable of the sower, seeds that fell on the road was eaten by fowls. Satan will just take away the Word of God in their hearts.
