i want a girls opinion?

there is this girl that i really like, i see her sometimes over the summer at our pool. people told me last summer that she liked me, but i had a girlfriend at the time. at the beggining of this summer her mom told my mom that we, meaning she and i should spend more time together. anyway at the end of june i got her cell #, we talked a bit and in the end of july i asked her if she wanted to go out to dinner, she said yes, but she said that she was going to the beach the next day. in mid august i called her to see if she wanted to go do something, i got her voicemail and left a message for her to give me a call back. i never got a call back, does this mean anything, or is it nothing. also do you think that she still likes me, and what do you think i should do? any help would be great.

Well, I suggest that you try her one more time.

If you get her face to face, ask her if she would like to do something together and if she says "no" , or makes some excuse, you have your answer.

If you don't see her, call her. If she answers ask the same thing, if she responds the same way as the above scenario, you have your answer.

If you get her voicemail, leave her a message saying. "Hi, it's ??. I'm calling to see if you want to go to dinner or a movie on ??. Call me back and let me know if you want to go. My phone# is ????. If she doesn't call, she probably isn't interested and is afraid to tell you.

In my opinion I don't think she would have agreed to go to dinner if she didn't like you. There are only three things I can think of that might have happened first she might just be really tied up right now. Second she might not have gotten the message or accidently deleted it. Or lastly (this one isnt too likely since she gave you her number and you guys hung out over the summer) she doesn't want to hurt your feelings and is trying to let you down easy. I really don't think its the last one but I don't know the girl.

I would call her one more time and if you get her voicemail, leave a very brief message and your phone number. If she doesn't call you back, that would be strike three, she's out!

If you get her on the phone, ask her out again and if she says yes, make specific plans for what day and where. Then of course, take things from there.

But if you don't get her on the phone and she doesn't call you back, don't waste any more time on her. She had her chance and she blew it!

well dude, it could mean 5 things, and only 5 things. They're sad, but they're true.
1. She lost her phone, (this happens to me A LOT.and friends get mad for not returning their calls)
2. (this is a sad one) she's deleting your messages and doesn't want to hurt your feelings, just wants you to shut up.
3. this is a super sad one: she likes you and told her friends that she thought you were SORTA hot, because she didn't want to completely give it away that she liked you, and her friends were all 'EW! THAT A$$?' and then she felt like she had to find someone cool and she stopped answering messages.
4. here is where you usually say that her mom duzn't want her to go with you, but her mom hooked u up, so never mind.
here's what you do: you don't return her calls, unless she calls you, and you talk nonchalantly at school.
5: your phone service didn't send the message. if it was scratchy and she couldn't understand it, she would have called back to ask you.

No call back could mean she did not get the message... try texting her and asking if she got your voicemail, letting her know you just want to see if she is ok.. if you do not get a text back in a day or two I would say she is not interested.

Well she probably didn't get the voice mail or was grounded or something. So just try to call her again. And even if she doesn't like you anymore, you guys can still be friends. There are plenty of fish in the sea, so don't worry so much. Good luck!!!

she might like u ...... i mean if she didnt call back that doesnt mean she doesnt like u. she could be busy or she forgot to check her voicemail or something like that. the best thing to do would be not to try to talk to her through ur cell but actually talk to her in person, this way u can actually c how she reacts when u ask her out.

It sounds to me like you've done what you could. Her mom approaching your mom doesn't mean a whole lot, it could have actually been embarrassing for her...c'mon if my mom was trying to hook me up, I'd be embarrassed :(

So she talked to you once or so and said she'd go out but never did. This may be a sure sign that she's like not interested or not sure of what to do.

If she does like you, she knows where to find you. I wouldn't bother calling her again.

well there was this guy (also named matt) and he left me a voicemail askin me out..but i was too shy to call him back just because we didn't really kno each other all that well..yea we talked but not a lot...i wouldn't worry bout it..just give it a lil bit then call back and if she answers just be like its been a while! whats up?! n if u get voicemail again..leave her a message also sayin its been a while! whats up?! n hope from thre! good luckk!! i hope i was a lil bit of help!

If a guy I liked called me for a date then I would definatly call him back. She might not be that into you. And if she doesn't call you back, I don't recommend calling her again because she might get annoyed that you're not getting the picture. Move on, don't stress over someone who isn't as into you as you are in them. Good Luck!
