It's a joke. I drove into work this morning and the streets were littered with those silly orange badges, some roads were blocked completely and I saw a group of people pulling a little old lady out from a pile of them that had collapsed on her (she was alright).
I've just watched the weather forecast and they're predicting heavy rainfall of orange badges. My fear is that they'll get into the drains, culverts, rivers etc and clog up all the water supplies. We could be in for a serious drought soon.
Birds seem to be attrracted to the bright colour and the trees around here are filling up with bright orange nests.

Top contributor badges were orange and stood out
When people received them they really stood out
They became targets for no good reason
At every opportunity or season
Whatever they pollute the environment I do not know
Since they were only like an icon I do not think so
Whatever they were I do not miss them
If they do not come back, who knows what will stem?

I have had a top contributor badge and lost it when I did not have the time to spend on Yahoo answers. I got it back when I spent more time on Yahoo Answers.
Now I seem to have lost it again, but I think that is because recently I have not had as much time to spend on Yahoo Answers.
I assume they are keeping my top contributor badge in storage for me and they will probaly give it back to me when I have more time to spend on this site.

All that orange in a landfill has to be an eyesore! They need to come up with a recycling plan...like turning them into real rotten oranges to feed trolls
