My 3 year old kitty has gooey stuff coming out of his eyes and he's blowing bubbles with his nose. Is this a sign of a cold? Should he see a vet or should this go away on its own? I just noticed it a few minutes ago.

It would be best to take him to the vets. It cuold be something minor, but it could also lead to something major. Just take him and get him checked out, they may give him some antibiotics to get rid of it, or so that it doesnt get worse

It depends on how much sneezing is going on. It is common for kittens to sneeze a bit but this will not last for days on end. If the litter box is normal, then it is not an emergency. I got two kittens, and they were checked immediately by the vet with a clear bill of health. Several days later, they were sneezing, but that stopped several days later. But the coughing is a concern. Cats are masters at hiding problems. I would take her to the vet to make sure and give you peace of mind. I don't think it is an emergency, and if she does have a cold, the antibiotics are cheap. Just make sure to follow any vet instructions as far as the full course of treatment. A cold is a viral infection, but antibiotics are given to reduce any bacterial complications.

Only a vet can determine for sure what is wrong with your kitty. Why wait until it's worse to go get him checked up? There are many sicknesses that have similar symptoms, so not taking him to the vet is a gamble.
