No. In an interview with illegal alien workers published in the San Jose (CA.) newspaper last year, one of the questions asked of them was "if you could get amnesty, would you become a United States citizen", all except one of those illegal aliens said "No." The interviewer then asked each of them why or why not, and the answers were "because then we would have to pay taxes and we would get less money to send back to Mexico", and "I am a Mexican I don't want to be an American", and "I don't like it here, I just come here to get money, and send it back to my family in Mexico", and "America has too many laws, I want to make money and go back home", etc....
So go to the source, apparently illegal aliens have no loyalty to this nation, they do not want to pay taxes etc....
They may want to stay illegally, as long as they can get paid under the table and do not have to contribute to the economic solvancy of this nation.
edit: for all of those uneducated posters here who say "they just use someone else social security card - they pay taxes".
Get a clue - that is a crime, a felony. A felony is a serious crime. The penalty for that crime is a $250,000.00 fine, and 25 years in federal prison, followed by deportation with a felony for illegal aliens. After being deported with a felony you can never come into the USA for any reason for the rest of your life, you can never be a US citizen or a legal resident of the USA.
If you are using a stolen social security number (and yes "someone elses number" is legally deemed to be a STOLEN social security number, even if that person lets you use it, that is illegal to do), then you are committing a crime, and i hope you are busted really soon and fined $250,000.00 and deported ASAP.

I am getting sick of getting sick over Americans being called lazy. These Mexicans simply work for wages that the average American cannot work at it and they do not desire 20 families living in a one bedroom apt. How much tax do you think is taking out after they claim more dependents than they got, there is hardly any tax being taking out too amount to much. The illegals arrived here with scams and with use scams through out their lives

A lot of Illegal Immigrants actually pay taxes because they use fake identities and fake Social Security cards.

Here is how much you know. They DO pay taxes and Social Security. You should try leaving the trailer park once in a while to read a newspaper. You might be surprised on how the world actually works...good luck!

Yes. I do taxes for several (80+) undocumented in my area. They do pay taxes. They do so with a TIN number. The reason they INSIST on paying taxes is because they believe that if amnesty is granted, paying taxes will be part of the "conditions".

If they had to do all the thinks we Americans do, they would be on the bus heading back to the border instantly. They get free medical, free food, no taxes, they don't have to learn our langauge, we have to learn theres, and they don't even spend what money they earn here, they send it back to Mexico. Just another way for the goverment make us poorer..

They would stay because if they pay taxes, they would assume the right to take welfare in place of it.
