I don't know how close the 2 of you work together. It's not a real good idea to date someone at work. If it doesn't work out there is an awkward feeling in the entire environment. But if you must, just invite a group of people out to eat at lunch and get to know her better like that, in front of a group of people. Remember, just getting to know her first and let it grow from there. If you know each other better I think that you would be able to talk to her a little better without it seeming like harassment.

Definitely do not attempt anything during work hours. Perhaps approach her after work and ask her to join you for coffee or dinner. If she declines, drop it and move on. If she accepts, take it slow and easy. Don't start flirting at work because it will appear unprofessional and innapropriate. Know your company's policies on interoffice relationships, and be prepared to deal with any possible consequences, should your involvement with her develop and be discovered by management. Good luck!

Dont date at work, but if you cant help yourself, just ask in a polite way that has nothing vulgar. If its just a simple "hello, I was wondering if you would like to have dinner with me sometime, or coffee after work?" You wont get in trouble. But if your all touchy touchy..then your gunna get an ear full and possibly loose your job. Steer clear of the hugs and just play it safe.

If you are her boss, you must keep it to yourself. If you are a co-worker, why would some innocent flirting land you sexual harassment? Flirt, but don't be sexual. If she is interested, she'll flirt back. If she's not, you'll get that signal too...

Co-Worker + Relationship = Very Bad Idea

If you absolutely must get to know her, try to arrange to meet with her some place outside of work. Then...proceed with caution.

Firstly speak to her, get to know her more then gently find right time to let her know your feelings for her but don't go over the top of trying to get to know her, like following her around etc.

Good Luck!!

dude. you don't have to ask the woman to bed with you right off the bat. Casually ask her out for coffee, or lunch first! Grow a pair, & go for it, or she'll begin to think that your a loser; & then you'll never get the girl!!! You don't want that!

I agree with the first answer, but if you're going to pursue what your emotions are telling you, just go up and tell her, but if she says she's not interested, that's where you must end it. If you keep bugging her after she says no, then you might get yourself in trouble
