the Americans (us, me) would have died if it wasn't for Mexico (letting us in) in that movie.

Illegals from any country need to keep out, legal Mexicans are not the ones we don't want coming here.
The movie "The Day After Tomorrow" is just that...a movie.
I for one am fine with many Mexicans not wanting me to come there to class up the place, I don't plan on it ,the biggest reason being that if I were to loose my ID (or more likely get robbed of it) I would get tossed into prison like the people south of Mexico do that go up there looking for work...for being an illegal.

Honestly, I dont think we should hate each other, while yes, we do not go into mexico to look for a better life, they come here for "the American Dream". Their goal is not easy though, and to get there they have to do things they dont like.
I don't see why many Americans hate immigrants, they are the ones doing jobs others wouldn't do, who else would pick your fruits, make your clothes, clean your house or tend your garden? Americans obviously would not, so they should stop the anger and open their eyes, immigrants benefit the United States of America, and we therefore should not hate each other.

Um, I don't recall that part in the movie- Isn't that where the earth is frozen....
Anyway, I don't think that people in general dislike each other. I think there are very different cultures, and, we live right by one another. The Mexican government is very corrupt (which isn't to say that ours isnt - we just hide it better), and, a lot of the Mexican citizens that come here aren't very well educated, and, sometimes become angry and violent. This gives Americans a bad impression, but, I think that by and large, we accept one another.... It is just that the most opinionated are often the loudest....

it was a goofy movie slick made by a bunch of bleeding heart liberals. If North America because ice all the mexicans would go home anyway there would be no grass to cut or blow.

Truth is that Mexicans have never nor ever will be dependent on idiots who went to college for degrees just to end up becoming under populated, giving Mexicans their EZ earned money, properties girlfriends in exchange for their drug habits. Now being resentful for something they did. No self identity not even culturally. And experiencing life through the biographies of exciting individuals. Ever seen Malibus most wanted (B-Rad)? That's more realistic.

Because 'The Day After Tomorrow' is just that, a movie. We could go on forever about this subject, but I rather not.
