Exod 3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian. Num. 31 1-2 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites
Num 31:15-16 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive? Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

As for the rapes, no. That part is easy. God told Moses that EVERYONE was to be killed, and MOSES decided otherwise.
As for the rest, I'm not a Bible scholar so I don't know the chapter by heart, but yes, God sent his people out to kill those who were evil and worshipping idols in order to preserve the chosen people and their lands. "Those who wander far away from God walk in darkness (John 3:19, 8:12), and are no longer under God's protection."
And here we are once again, pointing at an Old Testament event to assure ourselves that God is a big meanie. Hope you feel better, but you know you can't understand God's ways any more than you can perform brain surgery if you aren't a brain surgeon.
"But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' "Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?" Romans 9

You are obviously embellishing; there is nothing about raping children in that passage (slavery yes, sex no). You have been watching too much porn lately, I see.
If I recall correctly, Midian tried to attack Israel (in secret) first, so Israel was defending itself (Det. 22).
Why am I even bothering to answer this? You are obviously a troll who is not looking for a serious answer.

This and apparently a lot of other atrocious acts. This god thrives on blood and obviously finds the blood of innocents particularly agreeable. Some believers 'get off' at just the mere mention of the blood of the lamb. And God does demand the blood of the first born in every family.

Where did you find raping in there? Perhaps cultural context could be of some help here.

Yep...just like he enjoys mass-murder, killing his own kin, and the condemning of all non-believers...really good God, huh?

If you met my in laws, you wouldn't ask that. Those people are freaking evil.
And my husband will tell you, it's not rape if they are willing.... :)
(I refer to his being my inlaws child. Not actual CHILDREN)
